Pelvic Health Clinic Chaperone Policy

 

 

At the Pelvic Health Clinic, we are committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for all our patients. To ensure the highest standards of care and to protect the interests of both patients and healthcare providers, we have established the following chaperone policy:

 

Requesting a Chaperone:

  • 48-Hour Notice: If you wishes to have a chaperone present during their appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice to the clinic. This allows us to make the necessary arrangements to accommodate your request.

Types of Chaperones:

  • Formal Chaperone: A health care professional that is specifically trained for the role, for example a registered or unregistered member of the Nursing, Midwifery ,Allied Health Professional or Medical team
  • A friend or family member can be present during assessment to provide support they cannot act as a formal chaperone.
